1. Who is MyHobbyCloset.com?
MyHobbyCloset.com is a home-based, hobby-turned-into-business shop run by a hobby enthusiast. The owner has built hundreds of models in the past and still continuing doing so, with the first one being a Tamiya 1/20 Tyrrell P34 6-wheler at the age 5!
MyHobbyCloset.com is determined to provide excellent value by providing friendly and personal attention to each order, competitive prices and great selections.
Before MyHobbyCloset.com began operation, the owner has been selling models on E-bay under seller ID "supernova_100" since 2001, with many satisfied and returning customers that had since become friends.

2. How do I place an order?
Easy. Just search for the models you like and add it to the shopping cart. Enter your shipping address and any special instructions for the order, and complete the process. You will receive an invoice shortly through email with the total including shipping cost. Once the payment is received the order will be mailed promptly.

3. What is your payment method?
MyHobbyCloset.com accepts personal cheques (subject to bank clearance), international postal money orders, bank money orders, and cashier cheques. These types of payments can be mailed to the attention of:

Cash mailing is not accepted due to obvious security / safety reasons, and MyHobbyCloset.com will not be responsible for any lost mailing.
For local order pick-up, MyHobbyCloset.com will accept cash as well.

4. What is your pre-order policy?
MyHobbyCloset.com takes pre-orders for up-coming new releases. You can place orders just like a regular one or along with other in-stock items. You do not need to pay until the stock comes in and the invoice is sent.

5. What is your special-order policy?
If you have a specific kit in mind but do not see it on our catalog, please feel free to email the request and we will try our best to get it for you. However due to the nature of these requests we cannot guarantee availability until the kit is secured from our suppliers.

6. What is back-order policy?
For items that we do not have stock we can usually source them from our suppliers reasonably quickly. You do not have to pay for them until the stock has arrived.

7. What is your return policy?
Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery with full money back guarantee except shipping charge, no questions asked. Buyers will be responsible for return shipping unless it is a gross error made by MyHobbyCloset.com.
Before sending any returns please kindly write to us so we can have your refund process initiated in a timely manner.

8. How do I change my order?
If for whatever reason you need to change the order after checking out, please email us. We will try our best to acknowledge the change within 24 hours.

9. What is your shipping policy?
By default MyHobbyCloset.com will only ship when the whole order is completed (except local pick-up). This way you will save from having to pay multiple times of shipping costs when different backordered items arrived at different time. If you prefer to ship available items immediately please let us know during checking out or anytime, and the shipping charge can be calculated accordingly.
MyHobbyCloset.com uses Canada Post as default carrier. All orders will be shipped by ground service or expedited parcel depending on destination, with first CDN$100 damage / lost insurance and tracking number included at no extra cost. Extra insurance can be purchased at nominal cost.
Air / Express / Courier deliveries are available upon request, and should be indicated under Special Instruction while checking out.
MyHobbyCloset.com will ship worldwide except a few countries banned by the Canadian government. Please email us if you are unsure whether exporting to your country will be ok or not.
We ship to APO / Military address. Due to postal regulations we can only ship to these addresses by Canada Post / USPS.

10. How much is the shipping cost?
MyHobbyCloset.com charges exact amount for shipping cost, with no extra handling fee. Buyers would be responsible for any duties or import taxes incurred from the shipment.
To give an idea of shipping cost, a typical 1/24 car model would cost CDN$10.30 to ship to USA, and CDN$7-13 to ship within Canada depending on the province.

11. I live in Vancouver. Can I pick up the order instead?
Certainly you can. However to streamline the process pick up time is available 6-10pm on weekdays only unless arranged otherwise. For all pick up orders I do not charge shipping cost. Please indicate your intention to pick up the order in the "Special Instruction" in the shopping cart.

MyHobbyCloset.com treats your personal information with the utmost respect. We do not distribute, sell, rent or share your name and personal information to any third party. We do not share any statistics with any third-party vendors and will never provide any personal or specific information about the individuals who buy from us.
Your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than to send products or track orders, to improve your web experience with MyHobbyCloset.com, to receive occasional e-mails which provide you with the latest modeling information, unless required by law or legal process. We only ask for the information we need to complete an order, to confirm the order, to confirm shipment of the order and to contact you: your name, email address, mailing address etc. MyHobbyCloset.com will store the information, except credit card information for internal operational purpose only. Note that we do not store your credit card information online or offline for added security. The credit card information transfer is directly between you and PayPal through secure server.
